On the 10th of July 1890, five families joined together to share their passion for wine and founded La Rioja Alta, S.A in the Haro Station District of Rioja Alta. Since then they have managed to integrate the tradition in wine ageing and the state-of-the-art technology in grape fermentation.
Viña Ardanza 2005 is the most highly-rated Spanish wine of 2014 in Wine Spectator. This list includes the selection of the 100 best wines in the world after tasting of 18,000 samples from 15 countries.
